Burlap Dinner | Thursday, September 11: Growing at Altitude
Summary
Learn from our apprentices about the unique challenges of growing at over 6000 feet. They will highlight what they’ve learned this summer about overcoming the challenges posed by cool nights, early and late freezing temperatures, and an abundance of wildlife when farming on a nature preserve. We will feature tips, tricks, and systems that allow us to grow gorgeous produce high in the Rockies. The meal will be vegetarian and highlight the best of the season’s crops.
